Spring Conference & Masterclasses

The Metropolitan State University of Denver Department of Music and the Latino Cultural Arts Center of Colorado proudly presented the 2023 Viva Southwest Mariachi Conference & Showcase on April 14 & 15, 2023.

The Auraria Campus hosted two days of workshops with Master Mariachi Maestros that culminated in an evening showcase featuring participating student groups.

The Conference came back after a three year hiatus, and we couldn't be prouder! We were joined by over 150 students from across the state and announced the 2nd cohort of Mariachi Estelares.

Viva Southwest has education at its core. The All-State group brings the best youth talent across the state to provide financial development workshops and career opportunities.
