Cultivating a Sustainable Spiritual Practice with Artist Karma Leigh
Time & Location
About the Event
An introduction to growing, maintaining and creating art to hold your sacred cempasúchitl (marigold). In this workshop, participants will learn about cempasúchitl, or Flor de Muerto (Death’s Flower), used throughout Día de los Muertos traditions. Their bright petals and strong fragrance act as a beacon that guides the spirits of the departed to come back to visit their families. Participants will paint a flower pot to hold a cempasúchitl plant. The intention is to cultivate a divine and mindful connection to Nature (La Naturaleza).
